About Us
We are an informal multinational congregation of around 100 on a Sunday morning. Our Sunday worship is relaxed using a mixture of new and lively songs as well as the odd traditional song. Occasionally we hold evening services however these are in a more relaxed ‘cafe’ church style. Every 4-6 weeks we hold an all age service. We also encourage the sharing of testimonies during services.
We also hold activities for the youth on a Sunday and throughout the week including, Sunday school, bible classes, cell groups and youth club. The youth also go away each year and go on various social outings.

There has been a Baptist witness in Chadwell Heath since 1829. The current church building was opened in September 1905 (over 100 years ago!) and has provided a place of worship ever since. During this period we have had only 9 pastors with our previous pastor leaving in 2010.
We are a self governing church with the active involvement of about 80 people, with around 50 having committed themselves as members. The church is self supporting in respect of its own needs, but also gives to Christian work in this country and world-wide. We are members of the London Baptist Association, the Baptist Union and the Evangelical Alliance.
We seek to worship God and pray together, to share the good news of forgiveness for sin and eternal life through Jesus Christ, to encourage people to be His disciples, to serve the local community in the name of Jesus and support His work world-wide.
We encourage those who have put their trust in Jesus as Saviour to be baptised. We also dedicate infants who are brought by parents, and support these children through prayer as they grow up.
